BELA IVANYI

Bela has travelled and painted in all states of Australia. Since 1969 he has had Thirty Three solo exhibitions in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra and the NSW Central Coast. Group exhibitions include: Reader's Digest Drawing Prize 1968 (which he won); Sydney Printmakers Survey Ehibition, Blaxland Gallery; Perth Drawing Prize; Australian Graphic Atrist's Exhibition, Philip Bacon Gallery; Wynne Prize 1978,1981-83; Fleurieu Art Prize 2000; and the Kedumba Drawing Award 2003. He is represented in numerous collections including the Australian National Gallery. Bela lives and works on the NSW Central Coast.
