1936 Born Gyor, Hungary.

1968 Awarded a Diploma in Painting from the National Art School, East Sydney.

1969-72 Taught Painting and Printmaking at the Workshop Art Centre, Willoughby

1973 Moved to Cairns

1974-80 Senior Lecturer Australian Flying Art School in Queensland

1975-present Established and runs Cooee Bay Winter Art School, Queensland

1979-93 Part-time Lecturer in Painting, Drawing and Design, Newcastle and Alexander Mackie Colleges

of Advanced Education, City Art Institute (now College of Fine Arts), University of NSW.

2000 Lecturer, Art Education Newcastle University, Central Coast NSW Campus.

2004-Present Member of the Australian Watercolour Institute.

He was awarded the Order of Australia Medal in 2017 for service to the visual arts, particularly as an educator and mentor.
